I made it to the Airport! I'm sitting at a "Delta Charge Station" so my laptop won't die the first five minutes of my flight. There's a man next to me whose accent makes him undoubtedly British, which is nice, but that same accent also makes him undoubtedly impossible to understand. He said something to me about chargers but the few other UW students and I just gave him a stupid smile and nodded until he seemed satisfied.
The past few days have been a bit hectic, but I managed to get everything in order, including a literal last-day dentist appointment this morning as well as a complimentary face numbing (thank you Dentist!) It's been exciting but also sad saying goodbye to everyone! Hopefully this along with fb and skype will help ease the parting pain.
Mom, if you're reading this they made me check my back pack. This small Asian lady at the check-in counter kindly directed me to the itsy-bitsy container that no-one ever fits anything into and... it didn't fit. Plus I think I broke their container trying to ram the bag in there.
I took some pictures of the packing process. I started packing yesterday and kept at it until late last night. Below is my Six-Step program to Setting Sail...
Step 1: General Disarray. I was scared, confused, and hungry.
Step 5: Mango Slices.
The resemblance is uncanny.
So that's it for now. I'm at the airport. We board in an hour, and my flight was mysteriously scheduled to land an hour earlier than planned. I miss you guys at home, but I'm a peacock and I need to spread my wings and fly! As always keep me in your prayers. I love you guys.
Until next time!
